Nicole Cash is Head of Operations at M Booth Health, where she leads the systems, standards and resourcing model that determine how the firm’s work gets made. Her remit is to bring clarity, consistency and the right amount of standardization to the day-to-day, and to build an operational foundation that holds as the firm grows, so teams can meet increasingly complex client demands without internal friction becoming the thing they manage. She is equally deliberate about what she leaves alone: the heart, grit and creative instinct that built this firm are assets to be protected, not inefficiencies to be solved.
Nicole brings 25 years of agency experience and an unusual path through it, beginning as a graphic designer before moving into account management, project management, resourcing and now operations. Having sat in nearly every seat she supports, she brings a practitioner’s read to questions of scope, staffing and delivery too often treated as spreadsheet exercises.
Twice she has built a project management practice from the ground up, defining the standards, staffing model and ways of working from scratch. She has also built and led a North American agency operations and resource management capability, heading a 13-person team supporting all North American markets across three practices and six capabilities.
Her approach pairs utilization and performance data with a closer read on individual strengths and career goals, putting the right people on the right work in service of client outcomes and individual growth alike.
Nicole holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Born and raised on Chicago’s Southwest Side, Nicole lives in the southwest suburbs with her husband, three kids and two dogs. Outside the office she’s likely at a baseball game (go Sox), at a Jeep event, mid-DIY project or out seeing live music.
