Leila helps M Booth Health’s nonprofit and philanthropic clients define advocacy and communications strategies and tell stories of their impact.

Leila co-leads M/Pact, M Booth Health’s specialized social impact offering, in partnership with consumer sister agency M Booth. She provides strategic counsel and communications support to health, rights, policy, and philanthropic clients including Planned Parenthood Global, the International AIDS Society, and several corporate giving campaigns. Before joining the firm, she led global communications for Planned Parenthood Federation of America and the Guttmacher Institute, drawing attention to the need for investments in sexual and reproductive health and rights. She has worked alongside health care providers, researchers, advocates, policymakers and journalists around the world, with extensive experience in sub-Saharan Africa. Leila has led workshops in campaign design, message development, storytelling, digital strategy and media engagement. She received her MS in journalism from Columbia University, her undergraduate degree from Sarah Lawrence College and a certificate in international relations from Sciences Po Paris.
