Cub brings deep communications, policy and community relations experience to help M Booth Health clients navigate the public health landscape to effect positive changes.

Cub currently advises clients on communications and engagement strategies to help achieve public health goals like ending the HIV epidemic in the United States. His experience includes leading the marketing, communications and policy work at Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC), the world’s first AIDS service organization, where he is proud to have cultivated attention around the issue of HIV and aging. His government relations work there also yielded $1 million in annual funding from New York State and local governments, while also strengthening relationships with stakeholders on issues like HIV testing and LGBTQ rights. Earlier in Cub’s career, he managed communications for amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, where he spearheaded Capitol Hill briefings for lawmakers about scientific research and the rights of at-risk communities. He got his start at public affairs firm GMMB, working with clients on health care coverage campaigns. Cub earned both his master’s degree in journalism and his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University.
