Karen leads strategic and creative planning for M Booth Health clients, while also driving innovation for M Booth Health.
Karen is passionate about designing communications campaigns that awaken people to health risks and remedies to improve and extend lives. She brings strategic planning discipline and award-winning creativity to M Booth Health clients, with a current focus on rebranding one of the leading national oncology organizations and magnifying the impact of a major pharmaceutical company’s access program. Before joining the firm, Karen led strategic and creative planning for the healthcare practice at Ketchum, where she partnered with clients as diverse as Pfizer, Adapt Pharma, Alcon and Afaxys Pharma. She is especially proud of her award-winning “Prescribed to Death” campaign for the National Safety Council which established the nonprofit as a leader in the fight against prescription opioid overdose through a dramatic memorial comprised of pills carved with the faces of overdose victims—which traveled to cities hard hit by the opioid epidemic. Karen is also an expert in connecting with the 50+ consumer, having led proprietary research to uncover misperceptions and unmet needs of the longevity generation. Karen is a member of the Board of the National Eating Disorders Association and a graduate of Yale University.
